Let’s break down the process of making Attabad to Ajrak
When I decided to create a love story inspired by my parent’s cultural backgrounds, I decided to visit some book stores located in Lahore as I was working for the DKP concert there. The main aim to visit was to get inspiration for dialogues in urdu, the mood of the film and overall film genre. I was accompanied by Hasan bhai who’s somehow also the creative director of this film by bringing his touch of Gilgit culture.

After getting inspirations from the book stores, I decided to quickly travel to Gilgit Baltistan as I had to meet up with the actors and start my shooting. Here my brothers and my cousins are helping me for departure to the airport.

On my way to Gilgit Baltistan, I decided to take some pictures of the view from the window seat
After reaching home, I was welcomed with home made food before starting the actual work. I took some rest and went for shoot hustle next day. I prepared all the required camera equipments, the script and the screenplay in hard copy form. I had a vision of taking overview shots of mountains to add in my film. For that purpose I went on hiking on top of mounatain hill to capture all of my overview shots of scenery

Decison of cameras were being set at last we chose to shoot from sony camera a7 iv with two lenses viltrox 1.2 35mm and 85 sigma 1.2 lens

I decided to record some videos while we were heading for the shoot;
